Australia – record books required by MARPOL

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) issued a notice advising that it has ceased making oil record books, cargo record books, and garbage record books available in electronic format. Henceforth, these books will only be available in printed and bound format. The major reason for the change is to reduce the likelihood of records being tampered with.
