The most common reason a person dies from a heart attack is because none of the people nearby knew CPR, and if they did know it, they didn’t do it. In many cases this is because the skill has been too complicated to remember and perform. As of December 2005, there have been changes in the way CPR is taught. The revised guidelines simplify the instructions and make them easier to remember.

Workplace First Aid/CPR is a half-day class designed to teach you what to do until help arrives. This class meets all OSHA and WISHA requirements for First Aid/CPR in the workplace. In addition to CPR, the class covers shock, unconsciousness, and stroke; poisoning, bites, and stings; burns, scalds, sunstroke and heat exhaustion; bleeding and bandaging; strains, sprains, and hernias; fractures and dislocations; and work related health hazards.
Businesses should make sure that one or more people in the office are trained in first aid and CPR. We can travel to your facility or you can attend one of our scheduled classes.
Currently, we have a class scheduled for February 21, 2008 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. If you have questions or are interested in signing up, please contact Sonya Lindeman at (206) 285-3383. There’s no reason not to know First Aid and CPR! workplacefirstaidCPRFeb08 |
