IMO - amendment to MARPOL Annex I

 

The IMO issued a news release reminding the maritime industry that the 2006 amendment to Annex I of the MARPOL Convention enters into force on1 August. Oil fuel tanks on ships with an aggregate oil fuel capacity of 600 cubic meters or more and which are delivered on or after 1 August 2010 must be located inside the double hull.
